Reorganising

l

My blog site has been on a trial and error basis. I am trying to get partners and collaborators to work with. I am also seeking investors to come in with me and finance a business venture that will make a tidy profit for those who are willing to participate.

The current explosion within information technology has also created opportunities for those who have a talent for writing, making music, movie and documentary production. In short, despite the gloomy economic situation, the time for certain businesses to start up and thrive is now.

Although the chance to build a strong viable business exists, to actually plan, create a solid foundation and begin trading requires a lot of initial work that needs the input and the skills of certain professionals and an infusion of a decent working capital.

At present, I am rethinking my blog and also the direction of the sites that are currently active on the Internet. I will continue to write my short stories to entertain the visitors to my site but I feel that I can do more if only I can get the right partners and collaborators. Until this happens, progress in reorganising will be painfully slow. Readers please bear with me as my ultimate objective is still your enjoyment.

Those interested in investing into my commercial venture and those who are keen to collaborate artistically are quite welcome to contact me so we may discuss the issues further.

I will be concluding the flaming flamingoes story very soon. Meanwhile, my search for the ideal help continues. I will sometime in the future write about my experiences in trying to get government help through the Enterprise Allowance Scheme. It seems that this scheme actually disadvantages those unemployed people who are making an effort at a new business start up. It is quite unbelievable that an unemployed person joining the programme is expected to take a cut in benefit equivalent to £6 a week.

Penalising an unemployed person trying to get an enterprise started is definitely not the way to go. It seems the only winners of the New Enterprise Allowance scheme is the job centre that gets to take the entrepreneur off the unemployed statistics and the government consultants that get to run the programme. The candidate is penalised for trying to start a business venture. Anyone that signs up for this scheme as it is presently designed would seem to me not to have any business savvy.
